It all started with Anna sharing home cooked meals with friends and family on a quaint, greenery filled Lincoln Park porch.
The concept of Planted Porch grew from wanting to curate a space to linger longer, drink another glass, laugh louder, and not have the pressure of a traditional dining experience.
Now the Planted Porch comes from our table to yours.

Food Philosophy
I grew up around food, and coming from a farming family, farm to table dining has been the standard long before its popularity. My summers were spent in my grandmothers acre-sized garden, harvesting a bounty of amazing fruits and vegetables to make wonderful meals in a multigenerational household. My summer camp lessons were canning vegetables, making jams, and picking corn with my grandfather for that day’s supper. Before I entered elementary school I was well aware of the connection created around a generous kitchen table, and that food is meant to be treated as a form of connection.
